Careers

I have had several varied careers before and during retirement. Hopefully both sides of my brain have been stimulated with this diversity of careers.

• 19 years in the chemical industry as a chemical engineer and business manager

• 15 years owning a small business, selling and supporting what is now Microsoft Dynamics accounting and business management software

• 5 years as an insurance agent and financial planner.  Yes, that is when I decided I could retire for the first time!

• 9 years as a professional portrait and commercial photographer. This was my first retirement job. I am now retired for the second time moving my portrait skills from people to wildlife and race cars!

• Now starting my second retirement job as a Landscape, Nature and Wildlife photographer selling fine art prints, including digital painting and mixed media prints.

• Now starting retirement number 3 as a motorsports artist.

• I am an authorized Focal service provider fine tuning the auto focus on Canon and Nikon cameras. I clean digital cameras and sensors.
